Club Pistol is also an unscripted activity and is conducted on Ranges 2 through 8. This activity does not have a set program either. It too is meant to react to the needs of the shooters who show up on that particular day.
Activities such as testing ammunition and practicing shooting from various distances are most common. Other activities often include shooting at various targets at different distances to provide real world experience and to help the gun’s owner become more familiar with their equipment and their own abilities. Club Pistol also welcomes new shooters and those wanting to improve their skills. The Range Officers who run Club Pistol are all highly skilled shooters, accomplished instructors and also eager to share what they know with those who want to learn.
Sometimes the Club Pistol shooters share a range with the Class 3 shooters.
